We recommend measuring with a soft bra on (one without padding or wiring), or a snug fitting t-shirt or tank.
If you don’t have a soft measuring tape at home, there are a couple of easy alternatives: use a string or ribbon and compare it to a hard ruler or download a printable ruler—they’ll get you to the same answer.
Step 1: Measure Your Band
Wrap a tape measure (or string) snugly around your ribcage, directly under your bust. Keep your measuring tape level and parallel to the floor (it’s normal to droop down in the back if you’re not watching, so we recommend measuring in front of a mirror). Round to the nearest whole inch.
Step 2: Measure Your Bust
Wrap the tape measure around the fullest part of your bust (at the apex, usually that’s right across your ‘headlights’) while wearing a soft, unpadded bra that doesn’t compress your breasts. Keep the tape comfortably snug and level. Round to the nearest whole inch.

Take the pads out and hold the center of the bra (between the cups) with one hand and pull the fabric outward with the other, focusing on areas that feel tight.
