Here at Evelyn & Bobbie, one of the most frequent questions we get is about our sizing and fit. As a team of just three, we do our best to give personalized feedback and care to each and every customer. That being said, when I notice a trend in comments, it leads me to believe that others must be thinking it too! I hope you find these tips helpful - as always, the CX team is here to help if you have additional questions.

Comfort & Support

We often have customers reach out because the pads are visible under clothing or they feel out of place. To get the best and most seamless coverage, use your hands to position the center edge of the pad flush against the center front. The pads have a top, bottom and there is a left and right (check the labels inside!), so make sure you have them oriented the correct way. The pad should mimic a teardrop shape with the pointed part on top, pointing into the strap.

My Cups Runneth Over

Shape & Adjustability 

Our bras are made of high-tech 3D-knit fabric with 4-way stretch. This means they are able to stretch up to 3 inches where needed! If your bra fits well in the band but you experience spillage in the cups, you can actually use your hands to help create more cup capacity.Remove the pads, then use your hands to physically stretch the material in the cups. You can focus on the cleavage area and use one hand to hold the center (between the cups) and use your other hand to pull that material up and away. Do this on both sides. This will help give more depth to the cups and create more cup capacity and separation. This is a great tactic for “uniboob” as well! Don’t worry, you can’t rip it!

Plunge & Push-Up

If you are used to straps being too short or too long, you may think that you require adjustable straps. I hear it all the time from customers that they are concerned about strap length and feel like their only option is the Beyond Bra. As I mentioned in my tip above, our bras are made of an incredible fabric that can stretch and mold to your unique shape. The straps of all our bras will extend when necessary, even if they look non-adjustable. If you are more petite the straps will not feel the need to loosen, but if you require them to be longer, you can even use your hands to stretch them, to help along with the natural lengthening process.

The Size “Guide” Is Just That!

The Perfect Base Layer

Did you know that most companies only see product on one body, often size medium? Then using some calculations they decide what the sizes smaller and larger will be, without ever seeing those sizes on-body. Not at EB! Our design team has a database of over 250 fit models that graciously come in for any new product launch, and sometimes to just re-evaluate our current size guides based on returns and exchange analysis, as well as consumer feedback. Every size listed on our guide has been physically seen on a body. That’s a huge undertaking! I myself have been volunteering as a wear tester for a new bra design, and let me tell you, each session is at least 35 minutes! There are measurements and photos taken with and without pads, on various clasp settings and adjustments, all while at least three design and product specialists take notes on the fit.

Too Tight? Just Right!

Every body is different and just because dimensions are the same, does not mean fit will be the same. When you first put your EB bra on it will feel tight and compressing. You may have spillage in places you didn’t know could spill! Wear the bra for a couple days and like magic it molds to fit! If you follow our size guide and after “breaking in” the bra it doesn’t feel quite right, that’s okay! We offer 30 day returns and exchanges for this reason.
