Despite never knowing Aunt Bobbie, her ethos is one that is close to my heart: If you can't find it, make it.
Growing up curvy with an interest in fashion, it would have been easy to become distraught by the lack of options available. Rather than let the world dictate what I was “allowed” to wear, I was fueled by my frustration to create what I wanted.
From Hobby to Career: Joining Evelyn & Bobbie
This hobby born of necessity led me to pursue a career in fashion, which eventually brought me here to Evelyn & Bobbie. Everyday I get to design the most innovative bras on the market for people like me; people that have been ignored by the fashion industry that haven’t had access to the same options as their smaller-bodied friends.
A Unique Approach to Bra Design at Evelyn & Bobbie
At Evelyn & Bobbie, we take a unique approach to bra design, one that encourages experimentation, iteration, and a willingness to embrace failure. We understand the importance of creating and testing multiple versions of our bras before bringing them to market. This process allows us to identify what works and what doesn't, ensuring that we only release our very best ideas to our customers. It's a process that sets us apart from other brands in the industry and one that we are incredibly proud of.
Embracing Innovation and Iteration
The true joy of working at EB is the encouragement to try, iterate, and try again. The weirder the idea the better - what might we learn from failing?
For every bra we release into the market, there are hundreds of versions fit, altered and adjusted by our design team. Including tons of samples cut and sewn by me at my kitchen table, lovingly referred to as my “Frankenstein” samples.
Through these internal prototypes and iterations, we are able to find out quickly what works best. This ensures we are bringing only our best ideas to market. By the time that EB bra ends up in your top drawer, you can feel confident that our team, our fit models and our customer testers already love it.
Our design team is constantly pushing the boundaries of what is possible in bra design, embracing new technologies and materials to create bras that are both comfortable and supportive. We are committed to creating bras that work for all women, regardless of their size, shape, or lifestyle.

One of the most rewarding aspects of working at Evelyn & Bobbie is seeing the impact that our bras have on our customers. We receive messages and reviews from people all over the world who have finally found a bra that works for them. It's incredibly humbling and inspiring to know that we are making a difference in the lives of people who have long been ignored by the fashion industry.
